The City Council met in a special session on the 2nd day of
March at 6:00 PM in the Council Room.
Present: Greg Hansen, Leonard McLaughlin, Todd Harrington,
Xiong Yang and Jeff Harnack, City Clerk Paula McGarvey
Also present: Brian White, Travis Schaar, Aaron Walton, Jamie
Byers, Stacy Koppen
Mayor Hansen presided at the meeting
At the Special Meeting on February 26, 2009, the Council placed
Travis Schaar on administrative leave with pay until further
notice due to allegations of misconduct which are being
investigated by the office of the County Attorney. At this
meeting Travis Schaar requested an open meeting be held to allow
him to present information to the City Council regarding the
incident that happened at the Bar & Grill on January 20, 2009.
Travis Schaar, Jamie Byers and Stacy Koppen all presented their
accounts of the incident to the council.
Motion to Adjourn by Leonard McLaughlin, second by Todd
Harrington. All voted in favor, motion carried.
